A Missions-Minded Month
‘Bringing in the Sheaves’ is our theme for the year 2026, a vision that harnesses our overall goal to reach the world with the gospel. As we move into the latter half of the year, that vision remains at the forefront of our minds, with June being a very missions-focused month.

The month got underway with our 'Go & Tell' Missions Revival conference. The standout message from the conference came from our own missionary to Paraguay, Brother Ricky Carlson. His sermon entitled ‘A Double Portion’ was an encouragement to go above and beyond for the cause of Christ, to seek more opportunities to serve him and reach the lost - something that Ricky himself has lived by, especially over the past year.
One way he has done this is by filming the world’s first-ever Bible Way to Heaven video in the Guarani language. As you’ll see in the video below, there is a real need for the gospel to be published in Guarani, as the majority of Paraguayans speak only this language, no Spanish or English. It’s with this mission in mind that Brother Ricky is seeking to plant the first IFB church in Asunción, the capital of Paraguay.

Our second speaker at the conference was Brother Thomas Knickerbocker from HELP Ministries. Brother Knickerbocker has spent his life supporting missions, both in his previous role as a pastor and his latest role at HELP. He’s also raised a godly family with his children and grandchildren serving faithfully, so it was a blessing to glean from his wisdom.

He delivered a memorable sermon (complete with actions) to help us be more missions-minded and penned the theme song of this year’s conference - a song entitled ‘Pray and Give and Go’. All in all, it was a fantastic conference with visitors, salvations, baptisms, and more.

With our zeal stronger than ever, we got a chance to put all of the messages from the conference into action as we ended the week with a Soul Winning Marathon and a team of 27 soul winners sailing to the Bahamas for a missions trip.
This tremendous trip saw 191 people saved across Freeport and Nassau, both door-to-door and in the local schools and prisons. The leader of our Unbound Jail Ministry here in the US, Brother Greg Cameron, was instrumental in one of the most memorable salvations of the trip - a deaf man named Link. All out of resources, Brother Greg decided to Facetime his daughter Krista, who is one of our ASL interpreters at Revival, to fully communicate the gospel to Link. We are pleased to report that Link accepted the free gift of salvation and knows 100% that he will go to heaven.

It was the perfect example of everyone coming together, using the skills, resources, and zeal they have to reach the lost. From the teenage boy who paid his own way to the Bahamas, to the men who filled in for Brother Greg in the jail ministry back at home, to the interpreters/translators who help us to reach more of the world from our own doorstep - it’s just wonderful to see God working through us as individual members so that we can be more effectual as a body.
Praise God, June has been a fantastic month and with all that’s happened, it’s hard not to feel Revived.
